- Part Time Customer Relations Specialist - Customer Relations DepartmentSalary: £22,000.00 pro rataLocation: Redhill, Surrey
Our client based in Redhill are seeking an exceptional Customer Relations Specialist to join a team in Redhill to deliver a high standard of customer service handling all complaints and disputes received by the Customer Services department, ensuring that regulations are complied with and to improve customer satisfaction and retention. This is a part time role working 21 hours per week.
Duties include:- Provide an efficient and effective service to customer queries and complaints which require an in-depth knowledge of specific procedures and related systems and acting to ensure they are satisfied and consistent with department quality standards and procedures
- Customer Services, specifically with Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) complaints experience
- Maintain and develop up-to-date product, system and process knowledge to act as a centre of expertise and to provide an increasingly effective service to customers
- Relay customer perceptions and comments, identify and analyse opportunities to improve processes, products and/or systems, providing recommendations and evidence to support proposed implementation
- Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work within all areas of the department, to cover seasonal peaks in volume of work and as workload dictates
Skills and experience required:- 5 x GCSEs ‘A-C’ level including Maths and English
- SQ knowledge plus Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) complaints experience within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and communicate with all levels of colleagues and customers is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise and communicate with all levels of staff, management and customers is essential
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Excellent grammar and administration skills required when responding by email and for written communications
- Previous experience in a customer services environment
- Knowledge and experience of administering complex financial data/ledger is essential
- Experience in handling complaints in a financial environment is desirable
