- Customer Accounts Advisor - Collections - TempSalary: £12.50 per hourLocation: Redhill, SurreyContract: TemporaryYOU Personnel Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Specialised Management Advisor to join a fantastic and supportive organisation in Redhill to work within their Collections Team.Duties include:
- Administer and control the management of debt management accounts and vulnerable customers
- Manage the customer database
- Ensure all accounts are processed and managed correctly, complying with procedures and guidelines and always remains compliant
- Ensure all customers are dealt with in accordance with FCA regulatory requirements
- Identify customer’s needs and requirements having a clear understanding of their current and future financial capabilities
- Ensuring a high standard of organisation is maintained for effective collection of debt
- Ensure customers treated fairly and arrangement are reasonable, in line with their ability to pay and maintain and not increasing the customers’ level of debt
- Ensure all compliance, targets, objectives and quality standards are respected and monitored
- Keep systems and procedures kept up to date
Skills and experience required:- Maths and English to GCSE level or good numeracy and analytical skills
- Must have good people skills and ability to manage difficult conversations and complex client situations
- Be flexible and have strong interpersonal skills
- Needs to retain diplomacy and assertiveness with a strong conviction
- To be able to manage confrontation
- Time management and prioritisation are skills essential
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- To be confident and able to react quickly and efficiently to the varying demands of the role and to find affective solution/resolution of queries and disputes
- Knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act and FCA principle 6
- Previous experience in the collections is an advantage
Working Pattern:Monday to Friday 8.15am - 4.30pm Or 9.45am - 6:00pm variable 60 Min lunch
