- Collections AdvisorSalary: £21,000 - £23,000.00Location: Redhill, SurreyYOU Personnel Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Collections & Recoveries Advisor to join a fantastic and supportive organisation in Redhill to work within their fast-paced team. As a Recoveries Advisor you will ensure maximum return from the collections process.Duties include:
- Collect remaining monies due for end of contract debt
- Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth and effective interaction between all areas
- Record data accurately ensuring all relevant information is collected
- Investigate any discrepancies found on any of the accounts e.g. fraud
- Assist Recovery Supervisor in related matters as required including generation of reports
- Management of accounts through the pre and litigation process ensuring collection of all arrears
- Liaise with external Recovery Agents/Solicitors on outsourced accounts maintaining a constant awareness of issues and reporting these to the Recoveries Manager
- Investigate any customer disputes which have resulted in disputed invoices or withheld payments
- Ensure all customer administration is dealt with efficiently and within company quality guidelines
- Liaise with internal departments and external third parties e.g. Citizens Advice Bureaux, customer guarantor etc. to ensure repayment of arrears
- Respond to queries are dealt with in a timely manner and ensure issues are resolved effectively and sensitively
- Ensure all records are accurately updated on the appropriate systems in a timely fashion
Skills and experience required:- GCSEs A-C levels including English and Maths
- Previous recoveries experience
- Understanding and knowledge of debt collection process.
- Computer literate - Proficient in Work, Excel with good keyboard skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise and communicate with all levels of colleagues and customers is essential
- High level of listening skills and the ability to determine relevant information
- Ability to prioritise and multitask and adapt to change
